Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Texas

terms and conditions of my TAA Lease

The management at my apartments has informed me that I was not allowed to run a business from my apartment. the business has all their current documents to run legally. I just wanted to know if they were wrong in telling me that and if so what actions could i take when and if they post any notices on my door.

Read the terms of your lease. Is there a prohibition from conducting business in the premises? Are there zoning regulations which restrict operating a business on the premises?
