Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Automobile accident

I was driving my car, which my parents carry insurance on but do not list me as an authorized driver. I hit another car in the rear with my car. Does my parents insurance policy cover damage or medical to the car I hit? What am I responsible for? Damage to car I hit, medical to people in car I hit? Should my parents insurance cover damage and medical to the car I hit? Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Unless you are a specifically named excluded driver, you could be a permissive driver and your parents policy could cover the expense and damages of the accident. Good Luck.
