Can I file a lawsuit or get lawyer representation for injuries while I am in a chapter 13 bankruptcy?

Yes, but it all has to be done correctly and according to law. Your personal injury attorney will need to coordinate with the Trustee in Bankruptcy to make sure your settlement is exempted from the assets that are to be consolidated to satisfied your creditors.
