Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Hit by car. Light injuries

I was walking with my wife on the curve, this car backed at us w/o seing us, my wife tripped on floor, i pulled her up away from the car's path and at same time kicked the car to call for the drivers attention. Apparently we were ok and I walked away w/my wife because i was very upset and all i could get was the license plate. Didn't even talk to the driver. The day after I end up at emergency room with a sprained ancle, two day in unable to work and a $1000 + medical bill.

All this happen 3 weeks ago. Need to know how can I try to get conpensation for the medical bills or how to proceed... try to contact the person (Don't know her). I know the address of the place were the accident happen.

You need to hire a personal injury attorney, who will know how to track down the driver by using their license plate number and also how to get for you the compensation to which you are entitled. Don't waste your time trying to handle this on your own. The insurance company will do nothing but give you the runaround.
