Many times, there is a flurry of activity on case that occurs "in the background" so you wouldn't know that actions are being taken. Other times, there can be delays due to medical providers (it sometimes takes FOREVER to get medical bills/records). Also, many attorneys will delay sending a demand on a case until after the client finishes treatment. Assuming the property damage is complete, there is little for anyone to do until medical treatment has completed.
