Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was a passenger in an accident that was the other vehicles fault. I told the other drivers insurance rep that my lower back was hurting a little bit but I didn't think that I needed medical attention that nite. Since the accident my lower back has continued to get worse, I did have it examined at a hospital and was told that I had a strained and sprang lumbar. My lower back has not stopped hurting since, the insurance company told me to send them the hospital bill and any compensation that I thought i would need for the future and they would review it. I'm not sure what to ask them for, I'm sure I'll have to have an MRI at least. Any help would be greatlt appreciated, I am completely ignorant about this process, I've been submitted a claim like. Thanks

Don't settle until you know that you are 100% better because you only get one settlement check. An MRI would definitely show the extent of your injuries. Under Texas law, you are entitled to recover past and future medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering and mental anguish, and disfigurement. I would be glad to answer any questions.
