Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

i sold my vehicle about a year ago and the person who purchased it never registered the vehicle to her name. She was recently involved in a MVA apparently as now I am being sued. Am I liable since I sold the vehicle to her which now belongs to her? What do I need to do?

You need to answer the lawsuit. If you have insurance, notify them. Also, contact the buyer, and notify them of the lawsuit. If you do not answer the suit, you will lose by default. You have a valid defense.
