Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Hello. We're throwing a birthday party for my son in our backyard. We have trampoline that does not have any sides or guards. Can we be held liable if one of the children were to jump on it and hurt themselves? We are planning on telling the parents this is their responsibility if they allow their child to jomp on it and possibly have them sign a waiver. Thank you.

If you are worried about liability, then you should not permit others to use the trampoline. If a child is hurt or killed as result, the cost and anxiety of defending yourselves in litigation is just not worth it, even if you were to win.
