Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

New House

I recently had new home built, 9 months ago. Since that time my ceilings began to bow, buckles in the walls- major warranty issues. For the last week my wife and kids and I have been reduced to living in only a portion of the house while the warranty group makes repairs. This has been extremely intrusive and has been an unbeleivable strain on my wife who stays home with out 3 month old daughter. Am I entitled to any compensation for my troubles? I bought a brand new home and have essentially moved everything out so they can repair the things they originally did wrong. Please help.

Re: New House

Do you have a written contract with the builder. Is there a warranty? Are they honoring their contract? What specific damages have you suffered for which you have not been compensated as you were to have been under your agreements and how do you calculate what that is worth to you?
