Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

My husband divorced three years ago and in the divorce decree I was to keep the house. I later changed my mind and signed a warranty deed over to him a year ago. How can I remove my name from the mortgage?

You can't. The bank wasn't a party to the divorce, and I'm assuming they weren't a party to the later transaction, where you gave up your rights to the house. The only ways to get your name off: (1) your ex refinances the house in his name alone or (2) your ex sells the house.
