Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Noise Disturbance

I have a neighbor that I am constantly haveing a noise problem with. I have turned him into the management company of my complex and he has had three citations, the last one he was fined 100 dollars. I want to know what my options are as far as breaking my lease due to this noise? I don't want, and can't afford, to be penelized for leaving early. I have only been in the apt for three and a half months and my lease is not up until October. My lease states that if you get three citations you can be asked to leave but it is up to the Manager's discretion. What are my options here?

Re: Noise Disturbance

Read the lease. Look for the word Nuisance. Also, city codes also generally deal with loud neighbors. You might be able to call the police if the party next door gets too loud.
