Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Real Estate fraud and forgery

I bought my home 3 yrs ago. My girlfriend worked for the mortgage company. I came in town from working and signed the papers for a fixed rate. I then went back out of town. Never went to a closing or anything. Now three years later I am told I have an A.R.M. and extra money was taken out on the house. I contacted the title company for paperwork since she took mine when we split. The papers are all forged and not my handwriting. They were also notorized. I was not there! The house is in my name only. I would just refinance, but she got 5 credit cards in my name w/o my knowledge and I am in a dispute right now woth the creditors, but for the mean time it is on my credit. I have a tape of her confessing to the credit cards! Help!

The first thing to do is talk to the police. Don't delay - time is running out. You may decide to sue her in civil court also, and time is running out for that too. Gather your paperwork and make an appointment with the police and a lawyer.
