Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

My husband worked for a company for 8 years as a manager. 8 months ago they hired young women who showed signs of being unstable. She would walk around saying they are soul mates, crying at the drop of a hat. I guess when she realized that nothing was going to come of this she went to management said he had told her he was going to Kin nap her and have his was with her. They called all the worker in the office, there final out come was it was all he said she said. The case was closed. She came back to work and said she was going to sue. With in a day my husband was fired for sexual harassment. With no proof NOTHING. Can we sue her and the company? He worked with them for 8 years with no problems then 1 crazy person saying lies and he was fired.

You can sue her for slander. Good luck with that; she probably has no property, which means that if you get a judgment for $100,000, you won't be able to collect it.

As for a wrongful termination suit against your employer, you will never find a lawyer who will take the case on a contingent fee. Trust me. Any lawyer will want $5000 up front, and the case will take years.
