Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

If a sexual harassment lawsuit even worth it?

I dread going to work, but i can't afford to quit. I work at a bar and not only do fellow employees make inappropriate comments and grope me, but my manager especially does, when i don't respond to it, i feel like he retaliates by ignoring me when i need to place an order. My pockets are feeling it. Also, at my previous employer, seconds after being terminated, my manager said and i quote ''now that you're no longer an employee, we should hook up'', he constantly texts me trying to get me to meet with him, i've played dumb hoping to get my old job back, but since i don't give in to him, i've heard nothing back about getting my job back. This company had very strict rules about employees dating one another, he was partially responsible for my termination. So i often wonder if it was not intentional so that he could later date me.

My main question is, what would i gain from filing against these people/companies? Is it even worth it?

It sounds like retaliation. The question is whether you reported the matter to someone in a higher position. If you did and they did nothing about it, it sounds like a good case. We handle cases like that all the time. You may call us at7137714775
