Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

Student to student sexual harassment

I was posing a question to a fellow student (college) about what size shirt I should order for our honor's program. He cupped his own breasts and said that he thought I shouldn't order a size small. This took place in front of four other people. Is this sexual harassment? I feel very uncomfortable around this guy, who happens to be in charge of ordering these shirts, and is an officer of the honor's program. I will have contact with him until one of us graduates! What should I do? Who can I report this to at school? What can be done to this guy? He is in an officer's position, we all have to go through him to have funds appropriated for school functions!

Re: Student to student sexual harassment

Are you a student worker or student?

If you are a student, your school should have some type of policy in place for such inappropriate behavior.

If you are a student worker, you should speak with the HR department at your school.

Regardless, if you are uncomfortable you may want to speak out so others do not suffer the same embarassment.
