Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Hello My name is Billy and my mom is very sick and in the hospital.I have power of attorney on her assets and medical judgements. My mother is of sound mind but is a little confused and unsure about all of the paperwork the hospital after the fall she had. In adition:She is on several medications that make her even more confused at this time but she wants me handling all the discussions with the doctor and nurses. She is 74 yrs old with a birthday on 04-16-2013.

I want to know what is ok to sign, I do not want to be liable for multible bills that medicare and supplemental insurance does not cover. Please advise what i am requirred to sign or refuse to sign without her being refused treatment.

Thank You For Your Time,

Billy

Billy if she is on medicare with supplement, nothing should be done which is not paid for by it.

As a lawyer for injured people I am thankful to be on medicare/supplement and wish all citizens had as much.Obamacare is a step .....But..if u sign with POA, YOU are not going to be liable. In any event, I would sign everything requested unless u know she would not want it.
