Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Can mother keep me from inheritance

As a small boy, I was sexually and mentally abused by my mother.I kept it our secret up until 2 years back. Me and her have never gotten along very well--but I tolerated her to keep peace in the family. But I have discussed this abuse with a preacher, a psychologist and my wife over the past 15 years. I needed some relief. Two years back-out of anger due to some more serious mental abuse, I told my 4 siblings about the sexual abuse. Bad mistake. My oldest siblings hate me now, and think I made false accusatons just to hurt mother. My youngest brother goes in and out of prison. We don't talk anylonger, but I believe that he took my place with the abuse once mother was through with me. My mother has removed me from her will. Dad is already dead. I have asked my siblings if they feel this is fair and three of them have said that I have nothing coming and one brother doesn't want to get into the middle of this. I wanted to take mother to court for sexual abuse--but it is my understanding that I would have had to do that within 10 years after turning 18. Have I any legal recourse on being removed from her will? Is there not anything legal I can do about the sexual abuse or being removed from the will, or am I once again her victim?

Depends upon the language of the will. If she failed to mention you, then you take as if there was no will; e.g. 1/4 of the estate. But if she did mention you, and gave a reason why she didn't want you to get anything, then she got you again.
