Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Multiple sets of biological children - sale of property

Father had 3 sets of biological children (8 children)by separate wives. Father passed away 10 yrs. ago. Half-brother executor of will. Two years ago when stepmother passed away received 1/8 disbursement of dad's savings account. Was told at the time there would be more when father's home was sold. Have since been told that was a mistake - that there was a second will and everything was left to last set of children. Home has since been sold.

Question: Are the remaining 4 biological children entitled to 1/8 of the proceeds from sale of home?

Not if the later will has been entered into probate and determined as valid. Otherwise the last will entered into probate is the one that counts.
