With joint ownership of property, when a spouse dies (without will/probate) what paperwork is necessary to show that the title for property is held solely by the surviving owner?

Re: probate problem

Sorry, you will need to do an Heirship Proceeding to transfer the title to the property. There are no simple forms, and depending on several variables, the surviving spouse may not be the sole owner.

You need to talk to an attorney in your area. I offer no-cost consultations. If you want to make an appointment, call my assistant, Arlene, and she will arrange one for you.
