stepmother's too greedy

1st question. My dad gave my husband and I a tractor and a bed years ago long before he ever remarried. These items have been in my procession and on my property for years. My dad passed away in Dec 04. His new wife of a yr which is also the executor included these two things as part of his estate. I told her she can' t do that it's not legal she said unless I hire an attorney that she could do anything she wanted and claim what ever she wanted and there's nothing I could do about it. She's also claiming his personal property he had long before he ever married as community property when it should have passed to the heirs.

2nd question. In my dad's will it states his vehicle is to be sold and the money given to his heirs equally. She sold it but kept the money. What can I do about this? Is there anything I can I file in court on my on?

3rd question. I've requested several times for proof of documents. All request fell on deaf ears. Can I take the death certificate and his will and proof who I am to the bank to see what kind of account my dad had? She is on his bank accounts but unless she had them changed after he passed away she was originally listed as a convenience signer on the accounts. She said she's his wife and is ent

I think she's right - unless you want to spend the money and hire an attorney. she going to get her way because she has no opposition.

Mr. Grissom hit the nail on the head. The situation is too complicated to really handle pro se, and an attorney would be needed to get things sorted out.
