Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Will-Attorney needed?

do i need an attorney? my parents are decesed (mom passed in 05 and dad in 06)and left a will. how do i get a copy of this? one of my sisters is supposedly the co-executor with a brother. i am estranged from both. the home is still recorded in my parents name and i do not believe that notice has been given to creditors. my sister is operating as if they are still alive and using her power of attorney to handle affiars.

Retain Florida counsel to investigate. The will should have been produced for probate.

You can contact the County or Probate Clerk in the county where your parent's property was located yourself and see if probates have been filed. If they have, copies of the Wills should be on file. If they haven't been filed you probably need a probate attorney in Texas to represent you.
