wills probate or not
My father died this week. I am the executor of his will which he wrote 15 years ago. Today his only has a car worth 2000. and lots of credit card bills. Do I have to get the will probated since there are no assets?

No. You can go to County Clerk and sign affidavit of heirship form they have...to transfer title

No. The car should be sold using an affidavit of heirship and the proceeds should be used to pay whatever bills can be paid.
