Legal Question in Immigration Law in

i had a j-1 visa then i tried to change it to F-1 but it was denied. so i overstayed my visa for 2 years . i came back to my homecountry 2 weeks ago. my boyfriend who is a US citizen wants to marry me. we've been together for 3 years. will i be issued a fiancee visa and what are our options? or is it better for him to come and marry me here? thank you for your help

Your visa will be denied because of overstay. When you left the USA, you became banned (inadmissible) for 10 years.

Now, it will be hard to obtain a Fiance or Spousal visa. It could be possible if an extreme hardship waiver is granted.

If you planned to marry your fiance, you shouldn't have left the USA until after marriage and adjustment of status.
