Legal Question in Employment Law in United Arab Emirates

my husband resisigned from his previous employer as a spray painter, now he was employed with another company...and doing same job, now he is a competitor of his previous company and some of the project of the previous company was awarder to them, but now the previous employer is pestering him and telling him and they will press charges against him, due to this, as well as the equipment he is using are he only copyied from previous employment...kindly advice thank you

The Labour Contract with the earlier Employer has to be perused to ascertain as to whether a non- competitive clause was existent therein. It may however be noted that the burden of proof in such cases is on the Employer to prove the existence of such a clause and also prove the loss if any caused therein. For this they would have to file case also.
