Having signed a contract that states I must not work for a direct or indirect co

None Competition Law. Having signed a contract which stated that I must not work for a competitor, directly or indirectly, for twelve months following termination of my contract/employment, what action could my employer take should I go and work for a competitor within twelve months of my termination of employment?
