What state are you in? In California the statute of limitations is 2 years from the date of the accident unless a government entity is involved. If so, you must file a claim within 6 months against the appropriate agency.

Please feel free to call me for a free consultation. We handle cases throughout the state of California (877) 238-3086

Florida is generally 4 years unless you are suing a government agency. Then it will be less depending on whether it is a state or federal agency. See a lawyer. See www.FL-PI-Lawyer.com
