Is it illegal to get a loan out on a title of a vehicle if the title states that you are the sole owner of the vehicle but the title had a error on it and there was supposed to be a lein holder on it?

Since you know that a creditor claims an interest in the vehicle, you are putting yourself at risk for a lawsuit if you take out another loan against the title.
