Legal Question in Technology Law in Utah

Website Hyperlinks

Heres my situation. We were forced to change the name of our martial arts school because it was already taken by another school (were not a true business, we are an independent contractor for a public facility). As the other party demanded, we took down our website, all the links to the site are dead. Now they are arguing that the links to our site must be removed too. That would be an improbable task, as many websites are left un-updated. What are my options?

Re: Website Hyperlinks

Notify all of the links which you can, and again as you discover new ones. Since your site is no longer active, the links are meaningless. If the other company pushes you for something more, tell them that for a fee you will create a website that directs links to them.
