Legal Question in Family Law in Utah

The father of my child filed a custody case in Arkansas, and I am a resident of Utah as is my child. He came to Utah and filed the order here to register it and get it approved, but he hired a lawyer here and lied to him saying I am a flight risk and that I was kidnapping which is untrue and we have a court date for February 4th but he denies it and is trying to tak e my child without going to court because he says there are no courts hearings or such doings going on.. My question is, what can I do to get him to where he has to come to court and let somebody know that he is telling lies on me to get me in trouble with the law.

You need to fight the entry of the Arkansas order here. There are legal basis to do so depending on the facts. If the Arkansas order can be denied here, then the battle over the child will have to be fought here. It will not be cheap, but you must fight now - if you do not he will get the child and return to Arkansas.
