fight for custody

I want to go to court an fight my ex boyfriend for custody of our child an the one that is on the way but I'm afraid that he will get visitation an I know that he is a danger to my son sense the reason we split up is because he is abusive an has hit me infront of my son an well i was holding him also he has punched an kicked me in the stomach to have a miscarriage an he does drugs an owns illegal guns an I'm scared that well my children are with him something will happen what can I do so that I have custody but to where he doesnt get visitation

Start with immediately getting a protective order for your self and your children. You can get that at the Third District Court in West Jordan or in SLC. That order will keep him away from you and the children. You can also get a child support order at the same time. There is someone at each courthouse who can assist you.
