Non Compete
I have been in the job market for 5 months and have received an offer that includes a non compete clause. Regardless of whether I terminate the agreement or they do I am bound by a non compete. If they terminate me is the non compete agreement valid? The role is head of sales US/Canada. I live in UT and will work out of my home office. The company is in MA and I will have an office there as well. The agreement is governed by MA law.
