What type of legal trouble can someone get into when talking to other people online about meeting for sex while on there workplace computer and in the workplace using company email

I doubt that any of what you term "legal trouble" would be likely to come from it,

mainly because the employee found to be engaging in this kind of activity while

at work and using the employer's equipment would probably be discovered

and summarily terminated by the employer before it ever got to that stage.

It is primarily a mattter of company policy, that would control he situation. There may be an issue with profanities, if they are transmitted in the e-mails and offensive to the recipient.

If there is any discussion of money in conjunction with sex, that may be considered "solicitation" wihich is illegal. Also, any discussion of sex with anyone online that even suggests that one party is a minor is illegal.
