Legal Question in Disability Law in Virginia

Handicap Parking Allocations

I am with a developer of a high rise condo building with 242 condo units, 311 parking spaces. This is a priviate building. Am I required by Federal Law to allocate a certain number (percentage) of spaces assigned as handicap spaces?

Re: Handicap Parking Allocations

I currently reside in a condo complex in Arlington County, Virginia, and am not aware of any of the outside building parking spaces being alloted to handicapped parking.

However, rather than being an issue of

federal law, this matter could well be covered by local zoning or other ordinances, and you may therefore wish to contact your local governing body to determine what the requirements may be for your condo(if any) with respect to this issue.
