Posting Prices on the Internet

Is a company required to stand by a price they quote on a product on the internet? If the price they quote is wrong, can they simply say ''sorry we just made a mistake.''

What kind of mistake? Did they omit a zero and you're trying to take advantage?

Or is the price really low?
