Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

How can I sue Verizon in small claims court in Fairfax County, and how do I know which is their "corporate address" (of the many ones they list) that I would use? It would take too much space here to list the incredible journey I've gone through with them to get unauthorized and incorrect charges removed from my bill (still to no avail), so I'll spare you all the details. (One quick example is a $100 "unreturned equipment charge," for which I have solid documentatiion of its return, and which Verizon admits was returned, but for some reason will still not take it off my bill!)

I simply lack the time to deal with all this on a daily basis, and may even seek legal representation if this continues, as I now believe they are engaging in outright fraudulant practices! Help!

First of all, as a corporation you would sue Verizon not in small

claims court but in regular general district court.

Before filing your case, however, you would need to ascertain who

the registered agent is in Virginia for the corporation by contacting

the State Corporation Commission (SCC) and this is the person

whom you would serve notice on regarding your lawsuit. (And, if

for some reason you were unable to determine the identity of this registered agent, you could probably have any of the corporation's largest business offices in Virginia served with the paperwork instead of the registered agent.)
