Can a collection attorney put a freeze on a bank account when the person whoes account is frozen has not been notified about the lawsuit and has been deployed with the US Navy for the past 4 months?

If this in fact has happened, the service member

should send written notice to the court where the

lawsuit was filed and request that relief be afforded under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and further request that the court order all enforcement action to cease immediately.

A copy of this letter should also be sent to the agency or attorney involved in the collection of this matter.
