Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I feel i was railroaded into a guilty plea to unlawful wounding 7 years ago.I had a public defender who was not very helpful and instead of getting me a bond hearing so i could go back to work urged me that it would be better to talk the prosecutor into giving me a plea deal and i could get out of jail within that week. I had already been in jail for 45 days at that point as my attorney was unreachable until then. This charge is ruining my ability to forward my life. What can i do now. This is the only thing on my record.

No, I regret to report that nothing can be done at this late date (in my opinion)

to remedy the situation described. ( Not even first time misdemeanor offenders

in Virginia can get expungement of their records let alone those convicted of

felonies such as apparently yourself..)
