Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I filed a petition for expungement of criminal records in Virginia, as I am eligible to do so, and received the following response from an attorney for the commonwealth:

ANSWER

COMES NOW the Commonwealth, by her counsel, and hereby demands strict proof of the Petitioner's request for the expungement of certain records set forth in his Petition previously filed herein.

Does this mean I need to provide some supporting information/documentation, that my petition is denied, or something else? I don't know what to make of the response/answer.

The Commonwealth is likely demanding proof that the criminal charges against

you which are now the subject of your petition for expungement were either dismissed (nolle prossed) or that you were acquitted after the trial of the case or whatever else you've referenced in your petition as a basis for the requested expungement.
