Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

child custody/ criminal charges

Can I have my ex awarded only

supervised visitation while he has

criminal (non-violent) charges

pending against him? I am afraid he

plans to flee with the kids as he has

told them to prepare for a trip this

weekend and this is unusual.

Warrants are being sworn out for his

arrest on at least three felony counts

tomorrow. Please help, I am scared

to death. Thanks.

Sure, you should be able to ask the court for an emergency hearing on the matter.

Hi dis is Atty. Carolyn Malicdem.

Yes, you may asked the court, by filing the appropriate motion before the court, that only supervised visitation be given to your ex since there was a compelling/justifiable reason that your ex be fleed with your kids without your consent.
