Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Child Visitation

My daughter's father has visitation every other weekend which started after her first birthday which was January 13, 2008. He has only seen her four times this year and was supposed to have a 2 week consecutive vacation with her this summer which he did not take. He is supposed to have her for a week during the christmas holiday. When he has taken a chance to see her he only keeps her for about 4-6 hours each time. Is there any way that I can change the visitation, since she does not have a relationship with him? He lives forty-five minutes away from me and he does not make an effort to call or see her.

Re: Child Visitation

So you're proposing what, to further shorten this father's visitation schedule with his daughter, or, perhaps, eliminate it altogether?

I would doubt that the court having jurisdiction over this matter will in any way concur in your proposal.
