Can you file a warrant in debt against an ex for not paying spousal support?

If there was a written agreement to pay spousal support, as opposed to a court order, the agreement could be used to support a contract claim which could be filed in the General District Court as a Warrent in Debt, but the jurisdictional limit in that court is $15,000.
