Husband files for divorce and now refuses to follow thru with paperwork

My spouse filed for a divorce in november, we went to court for custody and support in december. In march he took orders to eqypt, and is not signing any paperwork so that we can get divorced from the marriage. Can i get divorced with him out of the country? He has refused to sign any type of arrangement that I have given him. What can I do??

It is possible for you to get a divorce even though he is out of the country, though it may take a while. There may be issues because he is in the military, but you can still file a cross-bill for divorce against him.

You will almost certainly need an attorney for this. Did you have an attorney representing you at the custody and support stages?
