Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have joint custody of my daughter in VA. The mother is denying me visitation that was set because there is a pending assault charge against her from where she assaulted my wife in front of my daughter. There is a man living out of wedlock there and my daughter tells me they fight and keep her up at all times of night. I filed for an emergency custody hearing thinking if I ask for gaurdian ad Litem it would help. The mother does not even show up for the assault case and has a capius now and the Gaurdian ad Litem still is saying this is not really emergency and the GAL hasn't even gone and talked to my daughter yet and the case is coming up in February. What should I do next. Please help

Perhaps, it's about time that you seriously consider hiring yourself an

attorney to represent you in this pending matter, rather than apparently

relying for such representation upon the GAL who is duty bound

to represent the best interests of the child at issue RATHER THAN

YOURS (which may not --believe it or not-- necessarily coincide) to the court charged with adjudicating this matter.
