Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

minor child

Say a child is sixteen of age with a license, car, job, and still in high school. What are the laws if the child has moved out of the parents house to a different house with a friend/ close relative but still in the same city? Also, the parents are still her/his legal guardian.
