Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am in the process of getting for a divorce. We are currently in the same house with two small children. I have reason to believe she has taken a check with my name on it out of the mailbox and signed my name on it and cashed it. She has never had a power of attorney to sign my name. Can my soon to be ex-wife sign my name on any documents?

No, not if she's your ex wife.

No even if she's still your wife. Theoretically, the bank should check the signature against the one of you they have on file. If they'll admit it's not yours, THEY will have the job of getting the money back from her.
