Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

protective order/harrassing phone calls

Can a protective order that my ex filed agaisnt me but stayed in place do to the fact he had me arrested and plead guilty to harrassing phone calls, which is really on one phone call that he even stated that was non-threatening, and he has nothing else on me in regards to ever threatening because I never did, but cant it be used to benefit him trying to take my son from me? he is also getting married soon.

There is nothing else he can use on my, my son has been in my care since birth, and his father for the past 2 yrs has gotton him every other weeken, and forfrits some weekends for his own purposes. so really the misermeandor of harrassng phone call is the worse he has on me, the charge makes what I did seem alot worse then what I did, if that makes since
