Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

If I have already purchased completed divorce documents listing my spouse's address as unknown-- because I didn't hear from him in almost two years, but then he called me from prison -- do I leave it as unknown, and just sign all the forms and have them notarized at the same time, make copies, and give them to the court to serve him?

No, the documents must be changed from unknown to reflect the defendant's true and correct address which you have now become aware of.

Furthermore, how would the court be able to serve a defendant whose address was unknown?
