Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Signing Acceptance /Waiver of Service of Process

I am filing for an uncontested divorce (Pro Se) from a different state then my wife resides. Will she have to sign the acceptance/waiver of Service of Process in front of my county clerks office or can she go before a Notary Public in her state and send me the document to file with the Bill of Complaint of Divorce? I do not wish to have the paperwork served and she already has a copy of the complete set of paperwork to sign, notarize and mail back. Thank you.

Yes, she should be able to execute the acceptance/waiver of service document before a notary in her state of residence and return it to you for filing with your complaint(not bill of complaint).
