If you are in fear for your safety of an aggressive pitbull that keeps jumping your fence, time and time again, coming in your yard to growl and chase your dog and you, into your house, can you shoot it?

Shooting the enraged animal should be your last resort, and only after you've tumbled to the ground and you see those bared canines headed for your bare neck.

Then steady your shot to surely kill this hound from the pit of hell.
