Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

car repair due to an accident

i had to have my car repair because of an auto accident. when i received the car back from the repair shop i noticed the milage on it was different then it had been at the time of the accident. i believe someone drove the car while it was at the body shop. i am not just talking a few miles i am talking 280 extra miles that weren't there before. i questioned the owner of the body shop about it and he said ''nobody'' drove the car. plus all the gas was gone out of it. is there anything i can or should do about this?

Re: car repair due to an accident

You could file your case against the repair shop in a Virginia small claims court for around $40.(The operative word here is could rather than should.)
